That’s why every new Roselli knife and axe is covered by our Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. If we determine that your Roselli has failed due to a manufacturing or material defect, we will repair or replace it at our discretion.

What does the Roselli lifetime warranty cover?

Roselli's lifetime warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship that affect the intended function of the product.

Every warranty claim is assessed individually to determine the cause of the issue and the most appropriate solution.


What is not covered by the Roselli lifetime warranty?

Roselli's lifetime warranty does not cover:

  • Normal wear and tear
  • Cosmetic changes
  • Damage caused by improper use
  • Accidents
  • Modifications or repairs carried out by others
  • Lack of proper maintenance
  • Use outside the product's intended purpose

All warranty claims are assessed individually based on the condition of the product and the cause of the damage.

Understanding Roselli Ultra High Carbon (UHC) steel

Roselli UHC (Ultra High Carbon) steel is our own high-carbon steel, hardened to approximately 64 HRC. Its exceptional hardness allows the blade to achieve outstanding sharpness and keep its edge for a very long time.

Hardness and toughness are two different properties. A simple way to understand the difference is to compare glass and plexiglass: glass is harder but more brittle, while plexiglass is softer and more flexible.

The same principle applies to knife steel. Because UHC steel is extremely hard, the edge is less tolerant of twisting, impact and sideways force against hard materials. Under these conditions, small chips may occur along the edge.

This is a natural characteristic of very hard steel and is not, by itself, considered a manufacturing defect.

For the best performance and longest life, use your Roselli knife for its intended purpose and let the blade do the cutting without twisting or prying.

Free sharpening for life

Every Roselli knife and axe comes with free sharpening for life, helping you keep your tool sharp and ready for use for years to come.

When the edge becomes dull or damaged, send your Roselli to our factory in Harmoinen, Finland. Our craftsmen will inspect the blade and restore the edge by hand.

The sharpening itself is free. You only cover the shipping cost to and from our factory.

Natural materials

Every Roselli product is unique. We carefully select natural materials such as curly birch, reindeer antler and vegetable-tanned leather, and no two pieces are exactly alike.

Natural variations in grain, colour, pattern and texture are part of these materials and reflect the character of a handcrafted Roselli product.

These natural variations are not considered defects in materials or workmanship and are therefore not covered by the Roselli lifetime warranty.
